This is my version of a grand finale! Please imagine lots of fireworks (green ones of course)! The launch of my blog has been exhausting but so much fun and now it is over. The launch is over but the giveaways, prizes, reviews, good content, research and other great stuff is just beginning. I have so many plans for the future of this site!
To end the launch with a BANG I wanted to have a huge prize and I think I have one that is going to rock the house! Yes, a WordPress Theme by, Claire from Sharp Wit Designs! She did this site and if it weren’t for her, I would not have survived such a huge task nor would I have such a sweet and user-friendly site. Let me explain something about this prize and why it’s so important to have an original design, it’s called branding. It’s also the bling of the Internet. Seriously, for mommy bloggers having a pimped out blog design is like having a nice pair of shoes or a great purse. It’s a must have. Why WordPress and not Blogger and why not a green prize for a green blog? Personally, I’ve used both WordPress and blogger and if you’re waiting to move, don’t. If you love Blogger, good for you but if you want to have a business and be a blogger you need to go to Wordpress.org and so here’s your chance to do so and win a hot new WP Theme! I liked this as my grand finale giveaway because it wasn’t just for greenies. Let me explain. I want to reach other people, people that aren’t just in my green circle and those that might not have considered going green or those that are on the fence and thinking they can’t for one reason or another. It’s something that can give me, my cause and my site more exposure. Enough said now on to prize details.
Win a WordPress theme valued at $699 and will include the following (winner may not hassle Claire either, she is donating her talent):
- 2 Column Theme
- Header can include an image (if you don’t have one, one will be created)
- Main content/sidebar (1 sidebar)
- Footer - can include three columns (for latest posts, comments, and a text area)
- Theme design includes 2 alterations to mockup before coding. (if required)
- Coding the theme
Ah, and did you really think you’d have to do nothing and you could be entered to win! For real? If you want to be entered to win you need to do any of the following and leave what you do in a comment (seperate comments for each thing though):
A) Blog about this contest
B) Use the Share it Button Below and share my site and this giveaway with others
C) Tweet about this cool giveaway!
D) Join my green community because it’s full of nice people who are helping one another go green.
E) Sign up for my newsletter in the bix box on the right under, Great Giveaways and Prizes!
F) Subscribe for updates via RSS or Email. This keeps you in the loop because you do really think this is the last rockin’ giveaway I will have? I think not!
G) Grab the banner below and add it to your blog but don’t forget to take it down when the contest expires!
H) Leave me a comment telling me what you’ve done (there’s lots of opportunities and you choose what you want to do or not do). If you do five things you have to leave me five comments, it’s simple! The more you do and the more comments you leave, telling me what you’ve done, the more chances you have to win. I signed up for the e-mail list! I’m a new blogger looking to launch my own web site. I have the domain and I have a logo but I don’t have any construction yet so this would be very, very well timed! My blog/vlog will be InStyle magazine hits the greenies, so stuff like LBD but eco-friendly. Eco-friendly cocktail parties, to go with the dress, natch. Also home decor, beauty, fitness.
