Flippin’ awesome. Can I have a two-word review and end it at that? I’m not sure what else to say other then, go buy one because it really is worth it. The power of the Internet and social media marketing is truly incredible.

Ask and you shall receive.

I tweeted about wanting to add video to Green and Clean Mom. I tweeted that I wanted to try the Flip Video because my digital camera does not have video sound. I emailed the company and asked to review the product but they emailed back saying that it wasn’t in their budget. An hour later the PR firm that Flip hired emailed me and saw my tweet. Wow! I had a Flip Video sent to me in the mail.  The product I reviewed and have been using is the Flip Mino.

Ask and you shall receive.

I have to give it back though. I’m so sad about this. I don’t want to put it in a box and send it away. I’ve been carrying it my purse for months now. It’s smaller then my cell phone and I just whip it out and take a video. Everyone wants to see it and they’re amazed at the size. It zooms and saves 60 minutes of video.

I consider myself pretty techno but adding video to my blog had me a bit freaked out. I wasn’t sure how to do it. With the Flip Video I just click the button, out flips the USB, I plug it into my laptop, download the video to Go Green Tube and embed it into my website. Easy as being green, for real.

Get yourself a Flip Mino and you’ll be glad you did! This is a great gift for the holidays! Available at the Green and Clean Mom Store. It might not be a “green” gift but for someone that wants to add video to their green blog, it sure the heck beats a digital camera with no sound.

Here’s a video I made in Washington D.C. of Min Sook Lee and her film crew taking a break talking to all of us green mommy bloggers (In the short video you will see, Lynn:  Organic Mania, Jessica:  The Green Phone Booth, Jennifer:  The Smart Mama and Jenn:  The Green Parent.)  There will be more videos like this to follow!

Disclaimer: Still figuring out editing and so ignore the last comment. I do not get “everything” for free. I only wish! LOL!

Very interesting! I am too self-conscious (not in a positive way) to think about video for my blog and website just yet. It took a lot to even have a photo up! I will check this out since I don’t have anything to record on anyway. :)

My husband got a Flip camera right before driving cross-country with our 7 year old daughter. He wanted to document the road trip. The Flip was so easy to use that my daughter entertained herself by creating videos along the way. Now that the family is all back together I have adopted the Flip to keep in my purse. I love that I can easily whip it out to take video of our kids.
