Disclaimer and Terms of Use

Green & Clean Mom, LLC is not a doctor, lawyer or counselor. I am a mom and I am presenting products, companies, information, and more to you based on my opinion. Of course, I want everything to be 100% safe but I make no guarantees. If I feature a product, a company or cause it’s because it is something I would use, buy, or support. If that means something to you, great but don’t hold me responsible if you break your leg wearing the pair of shoes that I blogged about or say I caused you emotional damage because someone laughed at your funny shoes. Seriously, the world is messed up and the fact that I have to write this is stupid. I flat out accept no responsibility or liability for damage or harm inferred or implied, that may be caused by products I’ve featured, reviewed, advertised, or written about on my personal blog, www.greenandcleanmom.org. I’m just trying to help moms like me learn about green issues, products, companies and causes but I am human so cut me some slack and be nice.  Please make sure you visit my official giveaways and rules page and privacy policy because I do use cookies.  Using my site is agreeing to my terms of use and this disclaimer, policies and rules.  If you are not comfortable with my policies, disclaimer, terms of use or rules, do not use my website and interact.

Green and Clean Mom, LLC does paid reviews and posts but fully discloses. All paid posts or reviews are labeled as sponsored posts. Here is my reasoning for why I do this:

1) It’s my blog so I can do what I want and if you don’t like it don’t read my blog. It might make me sad but I’ll survive.

2) Organic milk is expensive and I have to pay for it somehow.

3) A paid post or review is the same as selling ad space on a blog but then reviewing the product and claiming to be impartial. However you want to slice it or dice it, its business. My editorial space isn’t for sale but my time sure the hell is! If you have a product that is going to rock my world and moms have to see it, the best way for you to do business with a mommy blogger is to get her to write about it. It stays in the search engine, she promotes her blog which promotes you. In turn your company gets more than a button that disappears. Now that is good business and I’m here to help you.

4) I fully disclose and won’t lie. If a product sucks then I will tell you and everyone else. I want you, my reader, to trust me. So I won’t give a company that makes a green product and then produces bleach a nice review just for money. Money doesn’t make me dance that much! Promise. Sorry Clorox, I cannot help you.

5) I’m not trying to get rich by doing this, I’m trying to support my blogging addiction.

6) Not every post is paid.

Product Submissions or Reviews

I cannot recommend a product unless I try it so you’ll just have to send me something. I do not send anything back, except if it sucks. If you decide I must see your product and you’re certain I’ll rave about it, please contact me with your very good sales pitch, a link to the product and your site and then maybe I’ll give you my mailing address. I do not promise to write about you or spread good blogging words about you, your company or product and I am not obligated to do so. I also may write not so good things and I’m allowed to do this too, so make sure your product is really good and green!!!  Realize, there is not a specific turn around time for a review either. I’m a one woman show so I do my best.

Giveaways

I highly suggest offering a giveaway to go along with a review. This increases traffic and exposure for your company or product. I am not responsible for mailing the product and it should be mailed to the winner within two weeks.  If you want the giveaway to be for U.S. only you need to let me know. NO giveaways are allowed for under 18 years of age.

Have a press release or just want some blogging juice and good karma?

I’d love to help the press and learn about news and upcoming events, celebrities, causes, etc. If you want to really have me help you, contact me and we’ll discuss paid options because this is really the best PR there is. I have some good testimonials from other PR firms, check them out!

We look forward to your comments!
